AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH
THE TUNGUSKA EVENT, THE FALL OF ANGELS, AND THE PENTECOSTAL / CHARISMATIC AGENDA @ 2015
On June 30th in the year 1908, over the vast forests of Tunguska in Eastern Siberia, Russia, an event of apocalyptic proportions, and prophetic significance, occurred. A ball- lighting-like explosion of such intensity and magnitude took place, without leaving any meteorite crater or physical evidence or remains other than entire forests completely flattened. The shockwave reverberated for hundreds of kilometers, and the after-effects were felt and seen thousands of kilometres in all directions from the epicentre…
“ At around 7:17 a.m. local time, Evenki natives and Russian settlers in the hills northwest of Lake Baikal observed a column of bluish light, nearly as bright as the Sun, moving across the sky. About ten minutes later, there was a flash and a sound similar to artillery fire. Eyewitnesses closer to the explosion reported that the source of the sound moved from the east to the north of them. The sounds were accompanied by a shock wave that knocked people off their feet and broke windows hundreds of kilometres away. The majority of witnesses reported only the sounds and the tremors, and did not report seeing the explosion. Eyewitness accounts vary regarding the sequence and duration of the events.
The explosion registered at seismic stations across Eurasia. It is estimated that, in some places, the resulting shock wave was equivalent to an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale. It also produced fluctuations in atmospheric pressure strong enough to be detected in Great Britain. Over the next few days, night skies in Asia and Europe were aglow; it has been theorized that this was due to light passing through high-altitude ice particles that had formed at extremely low temperatures—a phenomenon that many years later would be produced by space shuttles. In the United States, the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the Mount Wilson Observatory observed a months-long decrease in atmospheric transparency due to an increase in suspended dust particles…” ( Quoted verbatim from Wikipedia article: “Tunguska Event”).
The Comet-like bluish electro-magnetically ionised ball of lightning had exploded above the surface of the earth directly over the lightly populated Eastern Siberian Taiga region and completely flattened 2,000 square kilometres of forest. Surprisingly, no one was recorded to have been killed. The event has been hailed as the “ greatest astro-impact” in recorded history, both ancient and modern, yet most are none the wiser as to its actual and real significance. To pass lightly over this incredible portent would not be wise, somewhat foolish infact, since its import is so extreme that only few have succeeded in deciphering its true meaning. The meaning, in simple terms, is that it was the sign that the beginning of the end had arrived, or was about to..
This incredibly significant prophetic event was the inaugural sign to the world that the prophetic “ End-time of Noah”, the final days of the command to “ Build The Ark” before the greatest cataclysmic events of history were to be unleashed; the last six score years given to mankind to repent had arrived, or was about to. This ball of exploded lightning was the herald of the coming climax of all history. Venus/ Lucifer, the Devil himself , had finally realised his time was short, and had descended “ like lightning” to the world of men, as prophesied of by Jesus Christ Himself in the Gospel of Luke, as well as the Apostle John the Evangelist in the Book of Revelation: the Apocalypse. The time of the days of Noah had arrived…

Rev_12:12 Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
In most respects, the world remained in ignorant bliss. Men and women were marrying and giving in marriage, eating and drinking and being merry. Though the news of such an event had hit the tabloids world-wide and caused considerable astonishment, within a short time all was back to “normality”, and ordinary humanity retreated into its perennial tortoise shell of oblivion and mesmeric ignorance.
But not all humanity could be said to be quite “ ordinary”. The heathen Philosopher Nietzche had earlier preached and promoted the concept of a “ super-humanity” that was about to make its appearance on the world stage and arena, and Lord Bulwer-Lytton, the famous Rosicrucian, had espoused a similar theme in his books “ The Coming Race” and “ Zanoni”. The cities of influence were filled with secret societies of all sorts, coteries, covens, cliques and fraternities; ALL of which knew on the day that something was astir in the world of Spirits. Nietzche had proclaimed loudly the “ Death of God” and the “ Rebirth of Pan”, of Pantheism and Paganism, and the entire intellectual world was taking note seriously.
The Graeco-Roman Pagan deities, the “ Daemons” were about to be revived universally, and the original Christian prevailing influence would once again revert to a persecuted minority. The world intelligentsia was awaiting not only a world emperor who would restore the Iron Rule of Augustus, and a Universal Montanist Pope that would anoint such an emperor, but also, and particularly, the return of the Graeco-Roman “daemons/pagan gods” that would once again wield supremacy over humanity and finally bring true Christianity to its knees.
The crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the reign of the Emperor Tiberius, was historically understood by the early Christians as heralding the “ Death and Cessation of Pagan ORACLES”. Pan-Zeus ( The Roman Faunus-Jupiter) was the infernal deity that had presided over oracular religion and ecstatic, animistic inspiration throughout the Pagan world. Nietzche had announced the “ Death of the Christian God” and the “ Rebirth of Pan” in the sense that shortly ( turn of the 19th and 20th centuries), the Oracular religious impulse of Christianity would be supplanted by the universal revival of the Pagan Oracles, which were under the direct inspiration and aegis, according to the religion of the Orphics, of PAN-ZEUS…
In the reign of the Emperor Tiberius @ 30/31 AD, just after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the true and only Almighty God incarnate, the death of the Orphic Pantheistic Religion and the cessation of the formal Pagan Oracles world-wide was announced in a miraculous manner under the telling phrase “ the great god Pan is Dead”. The true story of this “ universal announcement” was related by the Historian Plutarch in his “ Morals: Theosophical Essays”, in the following manner:
“ XVII. Thereupon, whilst Heracleon was considering something with himself in silence, Cleombrotus continued, “Nay, but not only Empedocles has bequeathed to us evil dæmons that be evil by nature, but Plato, too, has done the same, as well as Xenocrates and Chrysippus; besides, Democritus, when he prays that ‘he may meet with auspicious idola’ (apparitions), shows plainly that he knows of others that have morose and mischievous dispositions and inclinations.
But with respect to the mortality of beings of the kind, I have heard a tale from a man who is neither a fool nor an idle talker—from that Æmilian the rhetorician, whom some of you know well; Epitherses was his father, a townsman of mine, and a teacher of grammar. This man (the latter) said, that once upon a time he made a voyage to Italy, and embarked on board a ship conveying merchandise and several passengers.
When it was now evening, off the Echinad Islands, the wind dropped, and the ship, carried by the current, was come near Paxi; most of the passengers were awake, and many were still drinking, after having had supper. All of a sudden, a voice was heard from the Isle of Paxi, of some one calling ‘Thamus’ with so loud a cry as to fill them with amazement. This Thamus was an Egyptian pilot, known by name to many of those on board. Called twice, he kept silence; but on the third summons he replied to the caller, and the latter, raising yet higher his voice, said, ‘When thou comest over against Palodes, announce that the great Pan is dead.’ All, upon hearing this, said Epitherses, were filled with consternation, and debated with themselves whether it were better to do as ordered, or not to make themselves too busy, and to let it alone.
So Thamus decided that if there should be a wind he would sail past and hold his tongue; but should there fall a calm and smooth sea off the island, he would proclaim what he had heard. When, therefore, they were come over against Palodes, there being neither wind nor swell of sea, Thamus, looking out from the stern, called out to the land what he had heard, namely, ‘That the great Pan is dead:’ and hardly had he finished speaking than there was a mighty cry, not of one, but of many voices mingled together in wondrous manner. And inasmuch as many persons were then present, the story got spread about in Rome, and Thamus was sent for by Tiberius Cæsar; and Tiberius gave so much credence to the tale that he made inquiry and research concerning this Pan; and that the learned men about him, who were numerous, conjectured he was the one that was born from Hermes and Penelope.”
Now, Philip found amongst those present witnesses to the truth of the story, who had heard it from the aged Æmilian….”
Though the main part of humanity was asleep and slumbering, there was a core of adepts and initiates who knew well that the time had arrived for the “ Externalization of the Super-human Hierarchy”, and that this hierarchy was to await and shortly encounter and receive an order of beings and existence that had previously confronted, interacted and mingled with humanity, in the times of the Patriarch Noah, nearly 4220 years earlier. The Great Daemon, Pan-Zeus, had been resurrected and revived. The cue for the grand Pagan Revival had been sounded, and the descent of the “ gods” had arrived.
In the days of Noah just prior to the Great Worldwide Deluge, the Angels that rebelled against the rule and allegiance of Almighty God ( the triune- Godhead of Father, Son and Holy Spirit) under the leadership of Lucifer/Venus/Satan, had “ under oath” bequeathed to the corrupt part of humanity, on Mount Hermon in Lebanon ( as recorded in the Ethiopic Book of Enoch the Prophet), all the secrets of sorcery, witchcraft, herbalism, arts and sciences of nature including magic, and commenced an interbreeding program with the beautiful daughters of men who had received this GNOSIS from the PLANETARY, STELLAR AND ELEMENTAL DEITIES ( the presiding spirits of the cosmos and the elementary realm) that descended to Earth as rebels against the highest Heavenly Empyrion; the very Throne of Almighty God.
These “ Fallen Angels”, which could assume somatic-biological form, had descended in flying craft, “ wheels-within-wheels”, as recorded by numerous Assyrian, Sumerian, Egyptian, Meso-American and Phoenician stone, rock and clay depictions and carvings, and were received willingly by Esoterically Initiated women brides, whose progeny and offspring became the great and mighty heroes and giants of “ mythological” fame throughout the ancient world, known as “ demi-gods” or “ Nephilim”. The last of these hero giants, such as Goliath, were slain and exterminated by the victorious labours of King David and his men, over 3000 years ago.
The demise of the demi-gods during King David’s reign, and the subsequent defeat and temporary retreat of the “fallen angels”, (the progenitors of the demi-gods); the Spiritual DAEMONS/ that were the instigators of all pagan Oracles at the time of the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, were events greatly lamented by the Pagan intelligentsia of the entire world, who longed for the return of Paganism and the Oracles of Daemons, and who were bent on perpetual resistance to the tenets of eternal life that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ had bequeathed to all who would avail themselves of the offer, and who also were willing to deny themselves in order to take His yoke, their cross, and through suffering in this wicked world follow in humility and righteousness, His steps, to a blessed eternity.
The universal demise of the Orphic Oracles after the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ led to an incredible resurgence of secret societies and brotherhoods, particularly in honour of the Zoroastrian Hermes, (Mithras), who carried out their Initiatory rites within the confines of the Roman Empire and beyond via the agency of the military orders, as well as the several Philosophical Neo-Platonic Orders that subscribed to the Magianism of Simon Magus, the founder of GNOSTICISM- the original and perennial enemy of all true Christianity.
This is not to say that the ability to contact and contract daemons and receive inspiration through possession had ceased, far from it. What had ceased were the established centres of formal Oracular afflatus, such as the Delphic Oracles.. No longer would they guide the destiny of nations, princes and kings with their chthonic decrees. An axe had been laid to Paganism by the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Yet the victorious aspect of the cessation of the Pagan Oracles caused a determined shift of emphasis shortly after the prophecy of the Apostle Paul was fulfilled regarding the cessation of the original gifts of Pentecost, the glossolalia and charismata ( 1 Corinthians 13), where daemonic activity then entered the Christian world in a major way shortly after the death of the last disciples of the Apostles ( the last of those who were privy to the upper-room experience on the day of Pentecost)… In other words, when the scaffold of the original gifts and manifestations of power in the early Church had been removed ( during the mid to late part of the 2nd century), and the three things which remained, namely, “ Faith, Hope and Charity” ( the greatest being charity) became the method and means of the furtherance of Gospel Truth in conjunction with a somewhat more solidified form in worship, liturgy, teaching and preaching, the first hints of prophetic falsehood which were earlier, in the first century, propagated in secret by the disciples of Sambatha, the Sybil ( whore) of the church in Thyatira, and the spiritual sons of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, became externalized with the advent of the False Prophet Montanus ( who was a priest of Cybele in Phrygia) and his prophetesses twain.
The emergence of the evil and false spirit of the Roman and Babylonian Sybils ( descended from the ancient whore of Babylon, Semiramis/ Cybele via Tyrian Jezebel of Ahab fame) WITHIN the Christian Church, was a catalyst to Paganism of enormous proportions, precisely because Paganism now had the ability to pursue oracular daemonic inspiration WITHIN the confines of Christian vocabulary and practise, the spread of which had the potential to draw much of the Christianised world into the Hadean pit of false spirituality…
By the advent of the false prophet Montanus in the mid second century AD, the Neo-Platonic/ Pythagorean / Hermetic Gnosticism of Simon Magus had absorbed virtually all the scattered sects and cults, ( Including Zoroastrian/ Mithraic Freemasonry) both exoteric and esoteric, within its fold and grasp. It was the destiny of these two heresies, that of GNOSTICISM and MONTANISM, to infiltrate and devour the early Christian Church, and to deflower it in order to destroy those believers who were weak and impressionable, and unable to withstand in the time of temptation and trial.
The following excerpt from Lady Queensborough’s “ Occult Theocrasy” illustrates well some of the tenets and practices of past and present GNOSTICISM:
“ Gnosticism, like the Ancient Mysteries, was founded on Spiritism, their mediums giving instructions purporting to come from the Gods or Spirits. In the Christian era, one of the earliest prominent Gnostics was Simon Magus, a Samaritan and an adept of the sect of Dosithians. This article is composed of certain passages transcribed verbatim from The Moravians Compared and Detected by Lavington. (See pages XIII, 59, 105 to 109 and 133). Among the successive disciples of Simon Magus were — Basilides, Valentinius, Carpocrates, Marcus, Marcion, Cerdo, Epiphanes, Montanus, etc., and according to Bishop Lavington, ” these were Heretics, and, that they were Heretics of the worst Kind that ever defiled and disgraced the Christian Name, is allowed by all Denominations of Christians. ” Some of these lived in the first Century and even in the Apostles’ Days, but the second Century was most fruitful in the Production of this Generation of Vipers and we must receive our Knowledge of their abominable Tenets from the early Ecclesiastical writers such as Irenoeus… Epiphanius… Theodoret… and many others…
” The Spirit among these Heretics went by different Names, Ogdoas, Sophia, Terra, Jerusalem and Lord in the masculine Gender : — Is particularly called both Prunicus and Prunica ; Mother Prunica the bold, and Mother Achamoth : — Their Mother is a Woman from a Woman. Sometimes their celestial Beings are neither Male nor Female : sometimes interchangeably either male or female. ” Such was the Excellency of their Knowledge and Illumination, who arrogantly styled themselves Gnostics, that they are superior to Peter or Paul or any of Christ’s other disciples. They only, have drunk up the supreme Knowledge, are above Principalities and Powers, secure of Salvation : and for that very Reason are free to debauch Women, or indulge all manner of Licentiousness — This Knowledge is of itself perfect Redemption, and sufficient. ” —
” Simon Magus, who taught that his Harlot Helena was the Holy Ghost, instituted certain foul and infamous Mysteries inexpressibly filthy and had Assemblies equally filthy to celebrate them : These being the Mysteries of Life, and of the most perfect Knowledge. ” ” The Carpocratians… practised all manner of Philtres and Enchantments : in order, as they speak, to have full Power in all Things, and to do whatever they please. — Hence they spend their Time in Luxury and Pleasure and bodily Enjoyments : nor ever come among us, unless it be to ensnare unstable Souls, and entice them into their impious Doctrine. ” ” For this end they taught Incontinence to be obligatory, as a Law : and not only lawful, but necessary to Salvation ; not only compatible with the Saviour’s Religion, but an essential Part of it : and those were the best Men, who in the common Opinion were the most vicious.
” The Carpocratians grew to that Degree of Madness, that being unable to conceal their Debaucheries, they made Incontinence to be a Law ” — ” Prodicus added this to the Tenets of Carpocrates, that Fornication ought to be open and public, and the Use of Women common. For which Reason, in their Feasts, the Candles were extinguished, each lay with the Women, as Chance appointed; and they called this Lasciviousness a mystical Initiation, a mystical Communion. ” ” Clemens Alex. gives a long Passage from the Writings of Epiphanes, contending for a Community of Women, as being the Law of Heaven; and that Men and Women ought no more to be confined in their Amours than other Animals. ‘ For ‘, says Epiphanes, ‘ he hath implanted a strong and vehement Desire in Man of propagating his Species ; which neither Law, nor Custom, nor any Thing else, can abolish ; for jt is the Decree of God. ‘
” The Ophites, or Cainites, say, that Cain was the Progeny of a higher Principality than Abel; and they confess that Esau, Corah, and the Sodomites, and all such, were their Relations : — That Vulva was the Creator of the Universe ; and that none could be saved, unless he passed thro’ all. So also Carpocrates taught. — Most of the Gnostics, with wonderful Artifice of Improbity, taught what is not fit to be named, in the promiscuous Use of Women, and to roll in all manner of filthy Communication. The Banquet being over, says the Man to the Woman, Arise, and shew thy Love to a Brother. So they proceed to Copulation “. — ” Some of them, by a most horrible Abuse of Scripture, apply the Words, Give to every one that asketh thee, towards enticing the Women. ” — ” Take hold, says Isidorus, of some robust woman, that you be not plucked away from Grace ; and when you have spent your seminal Fire, you may pray with a good Conscience. ”
” Both Epiphanius, and Irenoeus before him, say of the Founder of the Nicolaitans : ‘ Being ashamed of his own Remissness, he audaciously pronounced, that no one, who was not lascivious every Day could be Partaker of eternal life. ‘ •— ” Therefore those Gnostics, after a Debauchery, were used to boast of their Happiness, as having done a meritorious Thing : and when they had their Will on a complying Female, they told her ‘ she was now a pure Virgin’ ; though she was daily corrupted, and for many Years together. ”
” This may be a proper Place to introduce The Confession of Epiphanius; who in his Youth had fallen into the Gnostic Heresy ; whence he received what he writes concerning them, from the professed Teachers’ own Mouths : when their Women, one in particular, used all their Arts to debauch him. But by the Help of the divine Grace he overcame their temptations. I was then, says he, reproached by those pestilent Women, who thus scoffingly talked with each other, ‘ We would have saved this Youth, but not being able, we have suffered him to perish in the Hands of the Principalities. ‘ For the most beautiful among them makes herself the bait; and those whom she enticeth, she is said not to destroy, but to deliver. Whence the handsomest are used to upbraid those who are less so ; ‘ I am an elect Vessel, able to save those whom I attempt; which you have not Power to do. ‘ The most beautiful of them were employed to seduce me ; but God delivered me from their Wickedness ; so that, after reading their Books, I escaped from among them, and discovered the several Names of them to the Bishops of those Parts ; and near eighty of them were sent into Banishment. ”
” The Valentinians, says Irenaeus, being in Love with certain Women, would, without a Blush, seduce them from their Husbands, and make them their own Wives. Others of them, seemingly modest at first, pretended to live with them as Sisters ; and in Process of Time were discovered, Sister being found pregnant by Brother. ” ” And to aggravate their wickedness, they esteemed Copulation as a most sacred Mystery, known only to themselves ; and which the Profane were not allowed to put in Practice : What was abominable in others being highly meritorious in themselves. For, saith Irenoeus again, ‘ They have this Grace descending to them from the unspeakable and unnameable Copulation above. For which Reason they ought always to be meditating on the Mystery of Copulation.’ And thus they persuade silly People, addressing them in Discourse, ‘ Whoever is in the World and of the World, and mingleth with a Woman is not of the Truth, nor shall pass into the Truth ; because he mingleth in Concupiscence. ‘ Therefore Continence, say they, is necessary to us natural Men ; but by no means to themselves, who are spiritual and perfect; among whom the Seed, small from above, is perfected here. ” Compare Tertullian, p. 261. ” To quote Clemens Alexandrinus. ‘ I will bring in to open Light your most secret Mysteries : not ashamed to speak what you are not ashamed to worship ” i. e. the secrets of both Sexes. ‘ For I may well call them Atheists, who impudently worship those Parts, which modesty forbids to mention. ”
The arrival of the MONTANIST movement is the second great influence in the 2nd century A.D. to which attention must be drawn in relation to the forementioned developments;
“……Montanus a native of Ardabau, a village in Phrygia, who, in the latter half of the 2nd cent., originated a widespread schism, of which traces remained for centuries.
I. Rise of Montanism.—The name Montanus was not uncommon in the district. It is found in a Phrygian inscription (Le Bas, 755) and in three others from neighbouring provinces (Boeckh—3662 Cyzicus, 4071 Ancyra, 4187 Amasia). Montanus had been originally a heathen, and according to Didymus (de Trin. iii. 41) an idol priest. The epithets “abscissus” and “semivir” applied to him by Jerome (Ep. ad Marcellam, vol. i. 186) suggest that Jerome may have thought him a priest of Cybele. That after his conversion he became a priest or bishop there is no evidence. He taught that God’s supernatural revelations did not end with the apostles, but that even more wonderful manifestations of the divine energy might be expected under the dispensation of the Paraclete.
It is asserted that Montanus claimed himself to be the Paraclete; but we believe this to have merely arisen out of the fact that he claimed to be an inspired organ by whom the Paraclete spoke, and that consequently words of his were uttered and accepted as those of that Divine Being. We are told that Montanus claimed to be a prophet and spoke in a kind of possession or ecstasy. He held that the relation between a prophet and the Divine Being Who inspired him was the same as between a musical instrument and he who played upon it; consequently the inspired words of a prophet were not to be regarded as those of the human speaker. In a fragment of his prophecy preserved by Epiphanius he says, “I have come, not an angel or ambassador, but God the Father.” See also Didymus (u.s.). It is clear that Montanus here did not speak in his own name, but uttered words which he supposed God to have put into his mouth; and if he spoke similarly in the name of the Paraclete it does not follow that he claimed to be the Paraclete.
His prophesyings were soon outdone by two female disciples, Prisca or Priscilla and Maximilla, who fell into strange ecstasies, delivering in them what Montanus and his followers regarded as divine prophecies. They had been married, left their husbands, were given by Montanus the rank of virgins in the church, and were widely reverenced as prophetesses. But very different was the sober judgment formed of them by some of the neighbouring bishops. Phrygia was a country in which heathen devotion exhibited itself in the most fanatical form, and it seemed to calm observers that the frenzied utterances of the Montanistic prophetesses were far less like any previous manifestation of the prophetic gift among Christians than they were to those heathen orgiasms which the church had been wont to ascribe to the operation of demons. The church party looked on the Montanists as wilfully despising our Lord’s warning to beware of false prophets, and as being in consequence deluded by Satan, in whose power they placed themselves by accepting as divine teachers women possessed by evil spirits. The Montanists looked on the church leaders as men who did despite to the Spirit of God by offering the indignity of exorcism to those whom He had chosen as His organs for communicating with the church. It does not appear that any offence was taken at the substance of the Montanistic prophesyings. On the contrary, it was owned that they had a certain plausibility; when with their congratulations and promises to those who accepted them they mixed a due proportion of rebukes and warnings, this was ascribed to the deeper art of Satan. What condemned the prophesyings in the minds of the church authorities was the frenzied ecstasy in which they were delivered.
The question as to the different characteristics of real and pretended prophecy was the main subject of discussion in the first stage of the Montanist controversy. It may have been treated of by Melito in his work on prophecy; it was certainly the subject of that of Miltiades περὶ τοῦ μὴ δεῖν προφήτηϖ ἐν ἐκστάσει λαλεῖν; it was touched on in an early anonymous writing against Montanism , of which large fragments are preserved by Eusebius (v. 16, 17). Some more of this polemic is almost certainly preserved by Epiphanius, who often incorporates the labours of previous writers and whose section on Montanism contains a discussion which is clearly not Epiphanius’s own, but a survival from the first stage of the controversy. We learn that the Montanists brought as Scripture examples of ecstasy the text “the Lord sent a deep sleep (ἔκστασιν) upon Adam,” that David said in his haste (ἐν ἐκστάσει) “all men are liars,” and that the same word is used of the vision which warned Peter to accept the invitation of Cornelius. The orthodox opponent points out that Peter’s “not so” shews that in his ecstasy he did not lose his individual judgment and will. The following very revealing and disturbing quotation from John of Damascus on the Montanistic practices is worthy of careful consideration.. Montanus was a priest of Cybele, according to Jerome, and the tradition of Cybele was inherited by the Roman “ Sybils”, particularly the “ Sybil of Thyatira” historically known as “ Sambatha” to which the Apocalypse of John alludes. The prophetic utterances and traditions of the Sybils ( the daughters of Je-Zebel, of “ Ahab” fame) are to this day held in esteem and are perpetuated by the Roman Papacy and Church:
“…..48. The Cataphrygians, or Montanists, or Ascodrugites accept the Old and New Testaments, but they also introduce other prophets of whom they make much a certain Montanus and a Priscilla.
49. The Pepuzians, who are also called Quintillians, and with whom the Artotyrites * are connected, constitute a distinct heresy. Although they belong to the Cataphrygians, they hold other things which these last do not. Pepuza, which is a certain town lying between Galatia and Cappadocia and Phrygia, they hold sacred. In fact, they claim that it is Jerusalem. There is, however, still another Pepuza. Furthermore, they permit women to hold authority and to officiate as priests. And they celebrate certain mysteries during the course of which they pierce a new-born child with bronze needles, as is the custom of the Cataphrygians. Then, having mixed flour with its blood, they bake a host of which they partake as communion. They also tell a mythical tale of Christ revealing Himself there in Pepuza to Quintilla or Priscilla, in female form. They use both the Old and New Testaments, altering them in conformance with their own ideas.

( It ought to be noted that during the revival of Montanism at the time of the Reformation in Europe by the Radical Militant AnaBaptists of Thomas Muntzer and his predecessors, the rallying cry for the AnaBaptist peasants was “ BREAD and CHEESE”.. Their battle standard was the “ Rainbow”, which has continued to this day in the form of the “ new Rainbow Movement”; the “ New Age Movement” and the “rainbow alliance”…. Montanism was also a prominent feature of the French Revolutionaries ( to which the present “ New Age Movement also appeals), who, being largely drawn from the French Martinist Masonic Lodges, donned the “ red Phrygian cap” as their disctinctive symbol of historical allegiance, under the pretense of the “ emancipation of the peasants and lower class”… Engels, of Marx and Engels fame, wrote an entire book on the historical connections between the AnaBaptist Revolution in Europe, the French Revolution, and the Socialist Revolutions of 1848; the precursors of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia.. The Communist president of former Yugoslavia; Tito, who held sway over Yugoslavia for many decades, proudly draped a scene from Muntzer’s AnaBaptist Peasant Revolt in Germany as a backdrop in his office, in honour of Engels’ and Marx’s legacies…..)
The advent of the Montanist Tertullian and the commencement of Latin Christianity from the cradle of Montanism is the most important influence to arise from the forementioned developments…
The use of “ tongues”, or the “ charismata” ( glossolalia) in early Apostolic and sub-Apostolic times, is best described here in order to illustrate the true and the false notions concerning “tongues” which are and have been entertained in more recent times.
The Prophet Joel spoke of the “ former” and the “ latter” rain outpouring of the Spirit of God “ to all flesh” ( believing remnant of Israel and then subsequently the Gentile believers from all nations during the early church era). His typology and imagery was taken from the curious meteorological phenomena in Palestine which accorded with the agricultural cycle of sowing, growth, and reaping, and which Joel used to illustrate the fact that the future “ outpouring of the Holy Spirit” on the day of Pentecost, would NOT be a permanent fixture, but would, according to the prophecy of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13, soon after the event “ CEASE”.
In Palestine, seed sown in the fields depended on good soaking rain to fall in order to “ germinate” or “ establish” the seed for growth. This event was known as the “ former rain”. The “ later rain” was a period near the END of the annual agricultural cycle prior to harvest on which the farmer or peasant relied on to fall and give a “ plentiful harvest” by “ bloating” the seed/corn “ in the ear”. Once again, the rains were considerable, but if they fell DURING the growing season of the plant, ( namely between the former and latter rain downpour periods) they would inevitably destroy the crop, and were regarded as a dearth-causing blight. The Prophet Joel certainly DOES NOT ever intimate that this “ rain” would be continuous, but only delineates the “ former and latter” rain as being typologically appropriate.
By the time of Bishop Hippolytus of Porto, nearing the end of the second century A.D., it became apparent that the original “ manifestations” of the charismata with tongues ( given to the Apostles and their early disciples, the last of which died out near the end of the second century A.D.), had CEASED, and that the “germinal church seed” had been fully established in the “ field of the world”.
The heretical Montanist movement, however, claimed to be “ continuing” the early charismata, and through the formidable influence of their ablest disciple, Tertullian, the false notion of the continuation of the “ charismata” entered the Catholic Church and was soon embraced by the Western ( Roman) Priesthood and what later came to be called the “ Papacy”.
Saint Gregory Nazianzus, when referring to the “ false spirit” of the “ new prophets” ( the Montanists), claimed that the spirit was a demonic one ( from the daemon “ Cybele”), and to be avoided at all costs.. Earlier, in the mid to latter part of the second century, Bishop Irenaeus of Lyon had made the same claims against the then newly emerging Montanist movement and heresy. Montanism became the base for the growing pretensions to “ Papal Infallibility” and the platform upon which doctrines concerning the Roman Catholic supremacy, as well as the so-called teachings about the “ continuation of the charismata/gifts”, would be perpetuated. The fact that there is a “ continuing line” of claimants to the perpetuation of the charismata over the last 1900 years, from Montanus to Mani to Mahommed to the Paulicans to the Cathars and Albigensian heretics to the Franciscan Spirituals to the Anabaptists of Munster to the Rosicrucian sects such as the Quakers and the Shakers and the Mormons to the Irvingite, Welsh, and Azusa Street “ Revivals” and the modern “ Pentecostal and Charismatic” phenomena proves well the false and counterfeit nature of these fake and evil spiritual movements.
Like Nadab and Abihu of old, myriads of men and women have kindled an “ evil fire” on the altar of God’s indwelling presence over the last 19 centuries, and continue to do so at their peril. It is our firm belief that “ signs are for the Jew FIRST”, and that no “ latter rain” outpouring can or will occur except “ to the Jew first” during the near yet future time of the return and appearing of Elijah and Enoch; the only two “ witnesses” who have yet to die, and do so at the hands of the final world Emperor Antichrist.
All previous manifestations of tongues and the charismata, since the late second century A.D., have been counterfeit manifestations and a “ blight” to the crop of God. They have been little more than a pseudo-christian form of demonic possession and shamanism, and men and women everywhere are warned to flee for their eternal lives these past and present movements which are consuming the Christian world with an “ evil kindled fire”, just as the Montanists of sub-Apostolic days had done, and which their present disciples in the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, continue to do.
Christ Himself in the Book of Matthew warned the Christian Church that there would come a movement which would call Him “ Lord, Lord” ( claiming to be “ born again”), and would prophecy and perform works of wonder ( the charismata), to which he exclaims “ Be gone from me, ye who work iniquity; for I never knew you”….. We must all await the soon return of Elijah and Enoch “ to the Jew first” who will inaugurate the TRUE “ latter rain outpouring of Joel”, and restore sanity to the faithful remnant of Christendom and empower the persecuted Church to withstand the coming holocaust of the final Antichrist Emperor and False Prophet, and the treason of false brethren and sisters. May God Almighty have mercy on the believing remnant, and may many be led to Righteousness in Christ Jesus in preparation for the looming world-wide persecution…. MARANATHA….
ON THE BIBLICAL TONGUES by A.R.Faussett from his “ Cyclopedia”
Mar 16:17; Act 2:1-13; Act 10:46; Act 19:6; Act 19:1 Corinthians 12,14. The Alexandrinus manuscript confirms Mar 16:9-20; The Sinaiticus and Vaticanus manuscripts, omit it; “they shall speak with “new” (“not known before”, kainais) tongues”; this promise is not restricted to apostles; “these signs shall follow them that believe.” a proof to the unbelieving that believers were under a higher power than mere enthusiasm or imagination. The “rushing mighty wind” on Pentecost is paralleled in Eze 1:24; Eze 37:1-14; Eze 43:2; Gen 1:2; 1Ki 19:11; 2Ch 5:14; Psa 104:3-4. The “tongues like as of fire” in the establishing of the New Testament church answer to Exo 19:18, at the giving of the Old Testament law on Sinai, and Eze 1:4 “a fire enfolding itself”; compare Jer 23:29; Luk 24:32.
They were “cloven” (diamerizomenai), rather distributed to them severally.
The disciples were “filled with the Holy Spirit”; as John the Baptist and our Lord (Luk 1:15; Luk 4:1). “They began to speak with “other” (heterais, different from their ordinary) tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Then “the multitude were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language; and they marveled saying, Behold are not all these which speak Galileans? and how hear we every man in our own tongue wherein we were born, the wonderful works of God?” This proves that as Babel brought as its penalty the confusion of tongues, so the Pentecostal gift of tongues symbolizes the reunion of the scattered nations. Still praise, not teaching, was the invariable use made of the gift. The places where tongues were exercised were just where there was least need of preaching in foreign tongues (Act 2:1-4; Act 10:46; Act 19:6; Act 19:1 Corinthians 14).
Tongues were not at their command whenever they pleased to teach those of different languages. The gift came, like prophesying, only in God’s way and time (Act 2:1-18; Act 10:46; Act 19:6). No express mention is made of any apostle or evangelist preaching in any tongue save Greek or Hebrew (Aramaic). Probably Paul did so in Lycaonia (Act 14:11; Act 14:15; he says (1Co 14:18) “I speak with tongues (the Vaticanus manuscript, but the Sinaiticus and the Alexandrinus manuscripts ‘with a tongue’) more than ye all.” Throughout his long notice of tongues in 1 Corinthians 14 he never alludes to their use for making one’s self intelligible to foreigners. This would have been the natural use for him to have urged their possessors to put them to, instead of interrupting church worship at home by their unmeaning display.
Papias (in Eusebius, H. E. iii. 30) says Mark accompanied Peter as an “interpreter,” i.e. to express in appropriate language Peter’s thought, so that the gift of tongues cannot have been in Papias’ view a continuous gift with that apostle. Aramaic Hebrew, Greek, and Latin (the three languages over the cross) were the general media of converse throughout the civilised world, owing to Alexander’s empire first, then the Roman. The epistles are all in Greek, not only to Corinth, but to Thessalonica, Philippi, Rome. Ephesus, and Colosse.
The term used of “tongues” (apofthengesthai, not only lalein) implies a solemn utterance as of prophets or inspired musicians (Septuagint 1Ch 25:1; Eze 13:9). In the first instance (Acts 2) the tongues were used in doxology; but when teaching followed it was in ordinary language, understood by the Jews, that Peter spoke.
Those who spoke with tongues seemed to beholders as if “full of new wide,” namely, excited and enthusiastic (Act 2:13; Act 2:15-18), in a state raised out of themselves. Hence, Paul contrasts the being “drunk with wine” with being “filled with the Spirit, speaking in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” (Eph 5:18-19). The ecstatic songs of praise in the Old Testament, poured out by the prophets and their disciples, and the inspired musicians of the sanctuary, correspond (1Sa 10:5-13; 1Sa 19:20-24; 1Ch 25:3). In 1 Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14 tongues are placed lowest in the scale of gifts (1Co 12:31; 1Co 14:5).
Their three characteristics were:(1) all ecstatic state of comparative rapt unconsciousness, the will being acted on by a power from above; (2)words uttered, often unintelligible;(3) languages spoken which ordinarily the speaker could not speak.
They, like prophesyings, were under control of their possessors (1Co 14:32), and needed to be kept in due order, else confusion in church meetings would ensue (1Co 14:23; 1Co 14:39). The tongues, as evidencing a divine power raising them above themselves, were valued by Paul; but they suited the childhood (1Co 14:20; 1Co 13:11), as prophesying or inspired preaching the manhood, of the Christian life. The possessor of the tongue “spoke mysteries,” praying, blessing, and giving thanks, but no one understood him; the “spirit” (pneuma) but not “understanding” (nous) was active (1Co 14:14-19). Yet he might edify himself (1Co 14:4) with a tongue which to bystanders seemed a madman’s ravings, but to himself was the expression of ecstatic adoration. “Five words” spoken “with the understanding” so as to “teach others” are preferable to “ten thousand in an unknown tongue.”
In Isa 28:9-12 God virtually says of Israel, “this people hear Me not though I speak to them in their familiar tongue, I will therefore speak to them in other tongues, namely, that of the foes whom I will send against them, yet even then they will not hearken to Me.” Paul thus applies it: ye see it is a penalty to encouuter men of a strange tongue, yet this you impose on the church by abusing instead of using the tongue intelligibly. Speakers in foreign tongues speak like “children weaned from the milk, with stammering lips,” ridiculous because unintelligible to the hearers (Isa 28:14), or like babbling drunkards (Act 2:13), or madmen (1Co 14:20-23).
Thus, Isaiah (Isa 28:9-14) shows that “tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not.” Tongues either awaken to spiritual attention the unconverted or, if despised, condemn (compare “sign” in a condemnatory sense, Eze 4:3-4; Mat 12:39-42), those who, like Israel, reject the sign and the accompanying message; compare Act 2:8; Act 2:13; 1Co 14:22; “yet, for all that will they not hear Me,” even such miraculous signs fail to arouse them; therefore since they will not understand they shall not understand. “Tongues of men” and “divers kinds of tongues” (1Co 12:10; 1Co 12:28; 1Co 13:1) imply diversity, which applies certainly to languages, and includes also the kind of tongues which was a spiritual language unknown to man, uttered in ecstasy (1Co 14:2). It was only by “interpreting” that the “understanding” accompanied the tongues. He who spoke (praying) in a tongue should pray that he might (be able to) interpret for edification of the church (1Co 14:13; 1Co 14:26-27).
Hebrew and Aramaic words spoken in the spirit or quoted from the Old Testament often produced a more solemn effect upon Greeks than the corresponding Greek terms; Compare 1Co 16:22, Maranatha, 1Co 12:3; Lord of sabaoth, Jam 5:4; Abba, the adoption cry, Rom 8:15; Gal 4:6; Alleluia, Rev 19:1; Rev 19:6; Hosannah, Mat 21:9; Mat 21:15. “Tongues of angels” (1Co 13:1) are such as Daniel and John in Revelation heard; and Paul, when caught up to paradise (2Co 12:4).
An intonation in speaking with tongues is implied in Paul’s comparison to the tones of the harp and pipe, which however he insists have distinction of sounds, and therefore so ought possessors of tongues to speak intelligibly by interpreting their sense afterward, or after awakening spiritual attention by the mysterious tongue they ought then to follow with “revelation, knowledge, prophesying or doctrine” (1Co 14:6-11); otherwise the speaker with a tongue will be “a barbarian,” i.e. a foreigner in language to the hearer. A musical tone would also be likely in uttering hymns and doxologies, which were the subject matter of the utterance by tongues (Act 2:11).
The “groanings which cannot be uttered” (Rom 8:26) and the “melody in the heart” (Eph 5:19) show us how even inarticulate speech like the tongues may edify, though less edifying than articulate and intelligible prophesying or preaching. Either the speaker with a tongue or a listener might have the gift of interpreting, so he might bring forth deep truths from the seemingly incoherent utterances of foreign, and Aramaic, and strange words (1Co 14:7; 1Co 14:11; 1Co 14:13; 1Co 14:27).
When the age of miracle passed (1Co 13:8) the tongues ceased with it; the scaffolding was removed, when the building was complete as regards its first stage; hymns and spiritual snugs took the place of tongues, as preaching took the place of prophesying. Like all God’s gifts, tongues had their counterfeit. The latter are morbid, the forerunners or results of disease. The true tongues were given to men in full vigour, preceded by no fanatic madness, and followed by no prostration as the reaction. Practical, healthy religion marked the daily walk of the churches in which the tongues were manifested. Not these, but the confession of Jesus as Lord with heart and tongue was the declared test of real discipleship (1Co 12:3; 1Jo 4:2-3).
It is very clear, and may easily be deduced from the above article, that since the time of the Montanist Movement, the counterfeit manifestations associated with daemonic activity within the pseudo-Christian heretical churches such as those of the Montanists and the Gnostics, have harboured and encouraged contact with daemonic beings of a high order that are quite able and willing to capitalise on wrong methodology in order to produce desired, daemonic, results. This departure from the “ Faith as ONCE Given” to the Apostles of Jesus Christ and their disciples, was once again prophesied of by the Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul, in his letter to the young Bishop Timothy:
1Ti 4:1-8 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
The departure from the Faith here prophesied of, is undoubtedly that of the Gnostics and the Montanists, both of whom shared, to a large degree, the above traits in common.
With all the above in mind, we should note that the present “Montanist Revival” in the Pentecostal/ Charismatic fold that began two years before the Tunguska Event at Azusa Street in California, and, which had been planned by the Rosicrucian order at least since the 1600s, but not codified until the time of the Rosicrucian Philadelphian Society in London, with the publication of Richard Roach’s “ Imperial Standard of the Messiah Triumphant”, is not to be equated with a move of the Holy Spirit nor the “ latter rain prophecies of Joel”, but with a much more sinister SPIRIT and agenda that receives inspiration from a realm of fallen angelic entities that not only have the ability at times to exact actual cures and healing ( such as those which Satan in the form of ASCLEPIUS, the “ crooked serpent” of Scripture, the presiding daemon of healing and the tutelary deity of the modern Medical Profession, is able to conjure), but bring each individual imbued with their possessive presence into a realm of astral reality where contact is made and maintained with daemons via clairvoyant and shamanistic means, and doctrines of devils received and promulgated, as opposed to the working of the gentle, sober and “ easily grieved” Holy Spirit of God.
It is an interesting fact of history that Rosicrucianism had planned and put into actions systematic methods of trance-induction and self-hypnosis as well as group hypnosis, from the time of the Philadelphian Society of London, and the Quaker and Shaker Montanist phenomena, planting them as a seed in the work of John and Charles Wesley ( who were tutored by William Law, a famous Rosicrucian, and whose “ heart-warming conversion experience” was due to the “Evangelical Freemasons” of Count Von Zinzendorf, the Moravian Brethren, which were disciples of the Rosicrucian Imperator of Germany during the time of the “ Fama”: Jacob Boehme). Jacob Boehme was a Universalist Neo-Platonist, and his legacy was largely inherited, via the Philadelphian Society and Movements, by Ann Lee, the “Sybil” of the Shaker Movement. The link between the Shakers of the United States and the Azusa Street “ outpouring” are linear and chronological.
Richard Brothers, a Martinist Freemason and member of the Philadelphian Society, was instrumental in the political realm by promoting the doctrines of Anglo-Celtic-Aryan-British Israelism. This politically potent movement has been embraced by Freemasonry, Theosophy and most Pentecostal/ Charismatic and Evangelical Movements, as a counterfeit of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel… The union of the Anglo-Aryan Israelites in Europe shall be for the purpose of REVIVING the ten-toed Beast of the final Hermes/ Emperor/ Antichrist of Pan-Europa.
The “ Genius of Methodism” was extolled in the 19th century by Christopher Walton in his work on William Law, Boehme, et al. In this work TWO significant PLANS were set in motion for the creation of 1) A Unitarian Theosophical Society designed to unite ALL the world’s religions and secret societies in a single WORLD RELIGION OF TRUTH( which later became the Druze/ Rosicrucian Theosophical Society of Mme Blavatsky and Colonel Olcott), and 2) A Montanistic Holiness Revival Movement ( Initially the Irvingites, the Catholic Apostolic Church of Edward Irving, one of whose pre-tribulation “ rapture” prophetic disciples was John Darby of “ Brethren” fame) within Christendom designed to unify the “ Scattered Tribes of Israel” ( scattered brethren), in which Methodism would be the driving “ Genius”, and which would include the restoration of all denominations under the Papacy via the labours of the disciples of Ignatius Loyola, amongst others. The “ crowning work” would eventually lead to, what later became, the “ Unitarian-Universalist Alliance”, the forerunner of the World Council of Churches and the Ecumenical Movement.
The year after the Tunguska Event saw the birth of William Marrion Branham, the great false Elijah prophet of the mid-20th century, who had numerous visitations from “ (fallen) angelic entities” around the same time that the development of man-made UFOs was occurring in both the New and the Old world as a result of the electro-magnetic research and work of the Buddhist/ Pythagorean adept, Nikola Tesla; a close confidant of the famous Freemason Mark Twain, and a disciple of the Philosopher Goethe ( who in turn was an avowed Boehmist). Branham’s visitations by “Ascended Masters” in UFOs, especially in Arizona, from the mid 40s to just prior to his departure in the mid 60s, became proverbial. It was William Branham’s legacy that spurred the worldwide missionary labours of Pentecostalism and the Charismatic phenomenon. His complement in the arena of Theosophy, was the “ sleeping prophet”: Edgar Cayce.
Since the time of Tunguska, military, medical and scientific cliques worldwide, as well as secret societies such as Theosophy and Freemasonry, were experiencing secret communication ( which Marconi and Tesla also confirmed later openly in the press) from unknown “ space beings and entities of a higher evolutionary order”. Secret Bases were established in various Mountain Ranges and Alpine regions in Europe, South and North America, Antartica etc., for the purpose of assembly and manufacturing of components for circular and/or wingless flying craft based upon the information derived from and given by these “ Fallen Angels” that followed their Master Venus/ Lucifer to earth, since 1908. Breeding programs were instigated in order to revive the influence of daemons and demi-gods according to that which the world experienced at the time of the Patriarch Noah. Thousands of missing persons, abductions and disappearances over the decades, especially of children, have served to inflate the ranks of experimental programs and human sacrifices that secret societies orchestrate in conjunction with their Fallen Angelic/ Daemonic new Masters, the “ Ascended Masters” of Theosophical Society fame. The list of such atrocities committed in the name of “ Higher Spirituality” remains almost endless. The scene is set for universal judgement once again.
Matthew 7: 15-27 carries the final word:
